Late Blossom

Late Blossom is the musical and artistic vision of Jason Peter Shelburne, a singer-songwriter, producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. 

His work reflects a lifetime of creative exploration across music, film, visual art, and technology. After decades spent writing, recording, and experimenting across genres -from early four-track recordings and indie-influenced DIY to elaborate electronic music production and live rave shows and then back to psychedelic pop - he now returns with a deeply personal and fully realized artistic voice.

Having lived across the U.S. and worked in fields ranging from filmmaking to software development, his music draws from a wide emotional and experiential range. The Late Blossom project marks a deliberate and focused return to songwriting, bringing together years of ideas, recordings, and artistic development.

Late Blossom blends decades of musical influence into a cinematic mix of indie rock, psychedelic pop, funk, and atmospheric songwriting rooted in timeless emotion and modern reflection.

Drawing inspiration from artists spanning the 1960s to today, Late Blossom creates songs that are both nostalgic and new — immersive, melodic, and emotionally resonant.
